She also worked outside of the home at Western Publishing, as a Para for the school district, she worked in home health, and a breakfast manager at Braums in Coffeyville and Independence, KS. As the years passed and Rick was an adult, it wasn't unusual to stop by Sonny and Jackies to find Rick there having dinner with them.
